Every year, the leather industry discards hundreds of thousands of tonnes of useful collagen. Tanneries cut, split and shave their hides to get the right thickness and finish, and what's left is expensive to dispose of and hard on the environment. We built a process that brings that material back into the supply chain as a leather-like sheet.

Oli leads strategy, fundraising, customer development and operations. He holds a first-class Mechanical Engineering degree from Sheffield and an MSc with Distinction in Composites from Imperial. His experience includes engineering at Alpine and Williams F1.

Emiliano is an Associate Professor in Multifunctional and Sustainable Polymer Composites at Imperial College London. He provides advanced materials expertise and technical oversight as a key inventor.
